Privacy Policy for VisionPlay
Effective Date: July 10, 2026
Last Updated: July 10, 2026
App Developer: Orlando Valle
Summary: VisionPlay (formerly Infinite Football Scanning Pro) is a football training app. You can train without creating a personal account. Some training data may be transmitted to our servers to support app functionality, even if you are not signed in; when not signed in, this data is associated with an anonymous identifier rather than a personal account. If you choose to sign in, we also store account and training data on secure servers operated by our service providers so your progress can sync across devices. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information VisionPlay ("we," "our," or "us") collects, how we use it, and what choices you have when you use our iOS application (the "App"). VisionPlay was formerly known as Infinite Football Scanning Pro.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
1. Information you provide
- Account information (optional): If you create an account, we collect your email address and password, or authentication information provided through Sign in with Apple. Apple may share your name and email with us according to your Apple ID settings.
- Player profiles: Names you enter for training profiles. You may optionally provide age, team, and playing position.
- Support requests: Information you send us by email if you contact us for help.
2. Training and usage information
When you train in the App, we collect information about your sessions, including for example:
- Activity type, training mode (such as solo or partner), and session timing
- Rep-level results: correctness, reaction times, and directional choices
- Summary statistics such as accuracy, speed scores, and progress through training stages
- App settings and preferences related to training (for example, difficulty and notification preferences)
Much of this information is stored on your device. Some training data may be transmitted to our servers to support app functionality, even if you are not signed in. When not signed in, this data is associated with an anonymous identifier rather than a personal account. If you are signed in, training data may also be linked to your account and synced across devices.
We may use anonymous identifiers to support functionality before account creation.
3. Product analytics
We collect limited product analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve it. These events may include, for example, app opened, training session started or completed, account created, or player profile created. Analytics records may include your user ID, player ID, session identifiers, event name, and timestamp. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking networks for this purpose.
4. Partner and coach mode (when you use it)
If you use partner training (for example, an iPad display paired with a coach phone), the App may:
- Connect devices over your local network (including Bonjour discovery) and/or the internet
- Exchange short-lived session identifiers and join codes
- Relay real-time training control messages (such as rep timing and activity changes) between paired devices
Our relay service is designed for live coordination only and does not permanently store your training history in the relay itself. Training results from partner sessions may be saved on your device and may also be transmitted to our cloud database from the display device to support app functionality.
5. Information collected automatically
- Device and app data: Basic technical information needed to operate the App, such as device type, operating system version, and app version, may be included in server logs maintained by our hosting providers.
- Authentication tokens: If you sign in, your session is stored securely on your device (for example, in the iOS Keychain) so you remain logged in between launches.
- Anonymous identifiers: If you use the App without signing in, we may assign or use an anonymous identifier so training and related data can be stored and associated on our servers without a personal account.
- Local storage: The App uses on-device storage (including UserDefaults) for offline training, queued sync data, and preferences.
6. What we do not collect
- We do not access your camera or microphone for training features
- We do not collect precise location data
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App and training curriculum
- Create and manage your account and player profiles
- Save, sync, and display your training history and progress (including using anonymous identifiers when you are not signed in)
- Enable partner and coach training features when you choose to use them
- Send optional local notifications reminding you to train (only if you allow notifications)
- Understand product usage through our own analytics
- Respond to support requests and protect the security of our services
- Comply with legal obligations
Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable, we process personal data on the following bases:
- Contract: to provide the App and account features you request
- Legitimate interests: to improve the App, secure our services, and understand product usage in a proportionate way
- Consent: where required, such as for optional notifications or Sign in with Apple choices made through Apple
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these situations:
- Service providers: We use trusted providers to host authentication and databases (currently Supabase) and to operate our partner relay service (relay.infinite-football.com). These providers process data on our behalf to run the App.
- Apple: If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple processes your authentication according to Apple's privacy policy.
- Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored on your device and may also be stored on servers operated by our cloud provider to support app functionality. When you sign in, data is associated with your account.
- Internet connections use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS and secure WebSockets where applicable).
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
Data Retention
- On your device: Local data remains until you delete it in the App, sign out (which clears local account-linked caches on that device), or uninstall the App.
- On our servers: Training and account data is retained to support app functionality. Data linked to an account is retained while your account is active. Data associated with an anonymous identifier may be retained according to our operational needs and retention practices.
- Partner relay: Live relay sessions are short-lived and held in memory for coordination; they are not intended as long-term storage of your training history.
- Analytics: Product analytics events are retained for a period reasonable for product improvement and then may be aggregated or deleted.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
Within the App today, you can:
- Use training features without signing in (no personal account required; some training data may still be transmitted using an anonymous identifier)
- Create, edit, and delete player profiles
- Sign out, which clears local account-linked data from that device
- Disable coaching notifications in App settings and in iOS Settings
- Decline local network access (partner features may not work)
Account deletion: You can delete your account within the app or by contacting us via email.
California residents and EEA/UK users may contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children's Privacy
The App is designed for football players of various ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental consent where required by law. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of the App and account creation.
International Users
If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following categories of third-party services:
- Supabase — authentication and cloud database (Supabase Privacy Policy)
- Apple Sign in with Apple — optional account sign-in (Apple Privacy Policy)
- Our relay infrastructure — real-time partner/coach coordination during active sessions
We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics or Facebook SDK) in the App.
App Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Local Network: Used to discover and connect a display device and coach device for partner training on the same network. Not used for advertising.
- Notifications (optional): Used for local coaching reminders you can enable or disable. Notifications are scheduled on your device; we do not use them to send marketing messages.
The App does not require access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or location for core training features.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at the same URL and change the "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or App Store update notes where appropriate. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
